Particles of Microscopic Joy

My husband may not get my work (see earlier posts), but he surely "gets" me. For Christmas he blew me away by surprising me with a lab-quality microscope with a digital camera attachment. To see some of my early attempts at finding art in even tinier places than I ever have before, click here.

I have the best life!

Thanks Ria! I shooting a dragonfly on my list. I will let you know when I get one. I know a woman in town who is a former graphic designer and is now studying to be an entomologist. (At my tag sale last May she bought a box of mason jars to keep her specimen!) I have left a message for her that I want to talk to her about bugs...I'm sure with our shared interests we can create some great stuff. But I have to say...dryer lint should not be overlooked!

I have added a little info about the equipment to http://www.postmarkarts.com/photomicroscopy.html Several people are interested.

Stay well and I will keep you posted!

You are very fortunate to have met quite a generous Santa. This kit must have cost quite a few Pesos!!! Your first pictures are just awesome!!! Very promising and most importantly, have fun. Wish you best for 2006!!!
